IN OTHER BREAKING NEWS

Two more official trades to announce:

The Eagles acquire 19 year old forward JONATHAN LABERGE from the Saint John Sea Dogs in exchange for 16-year-old prospect MATTHEW STODDARD.

The Eagles acquire 19 year old defenceman BEAU PROKOPETZ from Drummondville in exchange for their 3rd round pick in the 2007 draft.

Good moves by the eagles today i'm really happy with the laberge trade because it adds grit and skill upfront and it is what everyone wanted.prokepetz will help the already top 5 PK and will fit well with the core we already have.And as for Bourdon .....he's AWESOME

I believe we needed a winger who could put the puck in the net along side of Sheppard, this guy is a solid centerman. Jury is still out, hope we didnt mortgage our future again this year.

laberge gives us a little more depth up front plus he has 16 goals this year.and also he is gritty as hell!!!pretty good with his fists too.

checking out some of the other trades in the league,bathurst traded their two best "D: men carle and veinneu , lewiston did nothing at all,halifax is rebuiding and PEI improved a bit,this has to be our year guys.i'm picking it now, eagles and VALDOR in league finals!!!!
